Then we have tennis, swimming and horse riding OR for those with extreme appetites we have the local “Skydive Express” which offers the states most experienced and best equipped skydiving centre, “Windward Balloon Adventures” can take you to great heights and give you a unique view of the Avon and the “Northam Aero Club” is home to the states premier Flight Training Centre without all the traffic of Jandakot. The Historic 1892 York Mill & Gallery is set on a couple of acres with beautiful heritage buildings to wander and a wealth of things to do. It offers original art from a range of talented local artists as well as rugged bush wood craft, fine hand-made furniture, corporate gifts and gorgeous jewelry. The York Mill Weekend Markets feature a selection of locally produced foods and crafts. Check out the York Mill toilet facilities while you are here, the craftsmanship is well worth a viewing.

The Drive Here

For the motorcycle and sports car enthusiasts, the ride/drive is sensational! Long sweeping bends with open straights along Great Eastern Highway through scenic farmland. Be sure to head home through Northam and Toodyay - Just make sure you have plenty of tread on the sides of your tyres... you'll need it!
